Airbus UpNext in Toulouse (Saint Martin) is seeking a Flight Control System Designer to define and deliver flight control design specifications and software for a demonstrator program, with regular travel to Cazaux.

You will work with the Overall Systems Design team on validation and verification, interfaces with actuators, and safety/V&V activities, using Matlab/Simulink, English mandatory.

Qualifications

• Aeronautical engineer with experience in flight controls design and software development.
• Experience with validation and verification of flight control software.
• Knowledge of the overall flight control system.
• Proficiency with Matlab/Simulink is required.
• English is mandatory.

Responsabilités

• Definition and validation of flight control system functions.
• Definition of the systems interfaces and monitoring with the actuators.
• Definition and implementation of Flight Control System specifications and software.
• Validation and verification of the Flight Control System software through various tools and models.
• Contribution to the safety and V&V activities.
• Contribution to the Permit to Fly dossier preparation.
