Job summary

Airbus UpNext SAS in Toulouse leads the Flight Control Actuator project within a high‑stakes R&T demonstrator. The role focuses on the flight control actuators, their integration, testing and V&V for ground and flight campaigns, coordinating with Loads and Airframe teams to deliver the demo deliverables.

We seek an experienced professional (5+ years) in actuator design and testing, with strong systems interface skills and fluency in English and French.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in actuator design, development and testing, preferably electro mechanical actuators.
• Experience in flight control domain is required.
• Experience in testing and validation activities.
• Strong understanding of systems interfaces and management.
• Ability to propose simpler and efficient ways of working.
• Good problem-solving skills; autonomous and adaptable.

Responsibilities

• Manage functional integration of the actuators and electrical integration.
• Define and deliver the actuators V&V.
• Follow up production and testing of actuators at suppliers.
• Coordinate qualification testing of actuators.
• Define and test actuators on test benches and on aircraft ground/flight tests.
• Deliver V&V documentation for permit to fly.
• Provide maintenance support and troubleshooting for actuators.
