EGYM is seeking a Fitness Trainer for our new Lyon showroom to contribute to a mission transforming healthcare by prevention. You will supervise the fitness floor, coach clients in proper technique, maintain equipment, and develop personalized workout plans.

You will also support sales and demos while providing technical guidance and innovative ideas. You should hold BPJEPS/STAPS/CQP or equivalent, be fluent in French with English communication, and thrive in a dynamic, team-oriented environment

Qualifications

• Qualified in BPJEPS/STAPS/CQP or equivalent French fitness certification.
• Fluent in French with good English communication.
• Experience in developing training plans and using fitness technology.

Responsabilités

• Supervise and monitor activities on the fitness floor.
• Coach clients on exercise execution and equipment use.
• Maintain and report issues with fitness equipment.
• Create individualized and customized workout plans.
• Guide members and support showroom visits explaining the ecosystem.
• Support sales teams and events, ensuring readiness of location and equipment.
• Propose improvements to enhance user experience.

You are passionate about fitness, technology and teamwork? Then join our team in our brand new office in Lyon as we are currently looking for a motivated Fitness Trainer (m/f/d)!

Your daily workout

• Supervising: You supervise and monitor activities on the fitness floor
• Coaching: You advise clients on proper exercise execution and the use of EGYM equipment
• Maintenance: You are responsible for maintenance and taking care of fitness equipment in the training room, as well as reporting incidents.
• Training Plans: You are creating individualized and customized workout plans
• Guidance: You resolve doubts, guide and support members in their progress and support the local team members when new prospects are visiting our showroom in the explanation of the full ecosystem
• Support: You will assist the sales teams and events while making sure that the location and equipment is ready to be engaged for the best business customer experience, and support them technically during the demos
• Improvement: You contribute with new proposals, creative ideas and improvements that help to enhance the experience of our users

Your fitness level

• Qualification: You completed training as a BPJEPS (Brevet Professionnel de la Jeunesse, de l'Éducation Populaire et du Sport), STAPS (Sciences et Techniques des Activités Physiques et Sportives) or a CQP (Certificat de Qualification Professionnelle) specialized in a relevant field
• Expertise: You are an expert in developing training plans as well as handling fitness equipment and have a solid understanding of anatomy and physiology
• Experience: you have worked in a fitness club, previous experience in a gym, health club, or fitness complex setup.
• Tools: You are able to work with technology applied to fitness (e.g. training applications, client software, connected equipment)
• Growth Mindset: You are eager to learn, grow and bring new ideas in a dynamic and innovative environment
• Drive: You are a proactive person with an ability to work autonomously but always team-oriented
• Communication: You are fluent in French and are able to communicate in English

Your training goal for your first 6 months

• Reliability: You organize your working day successfully and purposefully and know how to use all the relevant tools for you and your customers
• Teamwork: You actively participate in teamwork and build a positive and inspiring environment for customers as well as for colleagues
• Sales: You manage the sales process with potential gym clients successfully
• Retention: You encourage customer participation in special activities to increase retention
