Pye-Barker Fire & Safety is seeking a Security Service Technician in France to perform service, troubleshooting, and maintenance of intrusion alarms, access control, CCTV, and other low-voltage systems.

You will read technical drawings, use testing equipment, and communicate with customers to ensure systems operate safely and in compliance with codes and standards. Travel to job sites is required; excellent pay and benefits included.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years of experience in fire and life safety.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record, if driving role.
• Strong working knowledge of intrusion alarms, access control, CCTV, and low-voltage systems.
• Ability to work independently and complete standard service jobs without direct supervision.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and system drawings.

Responsabilités

• Independently perform service, troubleshooting, repair, inspection, and maintenance of security systems including intrusion alarms, access control, CCTV, and related low-voltage systems.
• Diagnose system issues and complete corrective actions in a timely and professional manner.
• Test and verify proper system functionality and compliance with applicable codes, standards, and customer requirements.
• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on security and low-voltage systems.
• Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, system layouts, and technical manuals.
• Use hand tools and testing equipment to complete service work efficiently and safely.
• Complete service documentation, inspection reports, and work orders accurately and on time.
• Communicate professionally with customers, team members, and supervisors regarding job progress and system status.
• Follow all company safety procedures and customer site requirements
• Travel to job sites as required.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
