To support this momentum, we are looking for a financial controller capable of combining strategic vision with an operational approach to enhance the company's overall performance.
Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, you will play a key role in implementing the financial tools, indicators, and processes needed to effectively manage Quobly's corporate, R&D, and industrial activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Structuring financial processes
- Selecting the management tools required for financial monitoring and accounting interfaces.
- Carrying out the initial configuration.
- Implementing these tools and providing support to their users.
- Leading structural projects
- Cost R&D and industrial projects by evaluating the main economic indicators (rates, work units, etc.).
- Implementing cost price evaluation and cost estimates for financing projects.
- Budget management
- Working with finance, R&D, and operations teams to develop, monitor, and consolidate budgets, ensuring commitments are met.
- Overseeing monthly closings and reporting to managers.
- Economic performance management
- Setting up and monitoring performance dashboards and KPIs.
- Analyzing discrepancies between forecasts and actual results, identifying areas for optimisation, raising alerts, and proposing corrective actions.
- Supporting senior management and managers in the economic management of projects (investments, costs, margins, ROI, subsidies).
- Ensuring traceability of financial data.
- Supporting decision‑making through business plans, profitability studies, and financing studies.
- Contributing to financial performance and financial responsibility within Quobly.
Preferred Qualifications
- 5 years of higher education in business school or university, specialising in finance/management control, or significant experience.
- 3 to 7 years' experience in management control in a start‑up environment, ideally preceded by experience in an audit firm or industrial group.
- Experience in process structuring and tool implementation.
- A good understanding of R&D requirements and the management of national and European funding projects.
- A solid accounting knowledge to liaise with chartered accountants.
- Excellent knowledge of Excel, BI tools, and management software.
- Professional English.
