AbbVie Headquarters Europe is seeking a Financial Analyst Area – Europe (6-month fixed-term contract) attached to the Europe Brand Finance Manager Oncology, supporting the Europe Area Finance team.

The role centres on forecasting and analytics for Oncology, delivering actionable insights, and leveraging AI-enabled models across the portfolio. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams in an international setting from Boulogne-Billancourt.

Qualifications

• 3-4 years of experience in finance/accounting with proven success.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Knowledge of SAP, Power BI and JDA is a plus.
• Proficient with AI capabilities demonstrated in a professional setting.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Fluent in English (verbal & written).

• Support the development of the Europe Area business narrative for LBE and LRP cycles, focusing on Oncology.
• Analyze Oncology sales forecasts to back executive reviews and strategic planning.
• Coordinate with Oncology teams to cascade information from Area & Global.
• Develop and deliver insights from AI-enabled online models across the portfolio.
• Champion AI initiatives within the Europe team.
• Provide accurate, timely ad hoc analyses to the manager and Europe team.

Job Description

AbbVie Headquarters Europe is looking for a Financial Analyst Area – Europe (6-month fixed-term contract) attached to the Europe Brand Finance Manager Oncology supporting the Europe Area Finance team.

Responsibilities

• Support the development of the Europe Area business narrative in preparation for LBE and LRP cycles, with a primary focus on Oncology.
• Analyze Oncology sales forecasts to support executive reviews, strategic planning discussions, commercial model assessments, and trendline analyses.
• Connection with Oncology community cascading relevant information from Area & Global.
• Support the development and delivery of insights from newly launched online commercial models, leveraging AI capabilities across the portfolio.
• Actively contribute to and champion AI development initiatives within the Europe team.
• Deliver accurate, timely, and actionable ad hoc analyses to the direct manager and broader Europe team.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3-4 years of experience in finance/accounting with evident success
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office (i.e. Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Knowledge of BPC, SAP, Power BI and JDA considered an asset
• Proficiency with AI capabilities, demonstrated through regular and effective use of AI tools in a professional work environment.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Excellent level of English (verbal & written)
• Ability to operate effectively in an international, cross-functional environment, building strong partnerships with Commercial, Medical, and Global teams.
• Analytical, proactive, and solution-oriented mindset, with a strong commitment to continuous improvement and the use of AI.
• Ability to learn quickly, work independently under tight deadlines, and deliver results.
