H.Essers France seeks a Team Manager Accounting to lead a local finance team of about 4 FTE, professionalizing processes, reporting and controls while bridging French entities with Group Finance.

You will oversee GL, closings, payroll provisions, VAT and tax filings, and coordinate audits. A solid grasp of French GAAP and multi-entity environments, plus people management and fluent French with professional English, are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in finance, accounting, or related field.
• 7–10 years of relevant experience in international/multi-entity environments.
• Proven people management, coaching and development skills.
• Solid understanding of French GAAP and local statutory requirements.
• Hands-on experience with audits, financial reporting and regulatory compliance.
• Analytical, detailed-oriented, able to manage multiple priorities.
• Fluent French with professional English for international collaboration.

Responsabilités

• Lead, coach and develop the local finance team (AP, AR, GL).
• Oversee monthly, quarterly and annual closings; ensure data accuracy.
• Coordinate reporting to Group Finance; implement group policies and controls.
• Manage VAT, corporate tax and local obligations; liaise with auditors and tax advisors.
• Drive digitization and standardization of finance processes and systems.
• Serve as sparring partner for local management and HQ Finance.
