Greenly is seeking a Finance Operations Intern to support strategic billing, collections and reporting. You will work closely with the Head of Finance, manage receivables, prepare invoices and drive efficiencies in cash collection.

This 6‑month full-time internship is based in Paris and requires strong Excel skills, billing knowledge and bilingual English/French proficiency. You will gain exposure to high-level finance decisions in a fast-growing climate-tech scale-up, with opportunities to

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or holding a Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration.
• Prior experience (internship, apprenticeship, or academic project) in finance, accounting, or a related field.
• Strong grasp of billing and accounting principles.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Fully bilingual in English and French (written and spoken).

Responsabilités

• Partner directly with the Head of Finance on strategic billing and collections priorities.
• Own the monitoring of outstanding receivables and drive cash collection procedures.
• Lead the preparation and issuance of customer invoices.
• Identify and implement process optimizations to accelerate cash collection.
• Manage client follow-up on unpaid invoices and resolve discrepancies with autonomy.
• Maintain accurate billing records and keep customer account data audit-ready.
• Prepare high-visibility reports, including aging reports and account reconciliations.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with the finance team on strategic and administrative projects.
