• Bachelor degree with minimum 10 years of experience in Logistics.
• Fluent in English (written and verbal).
• Deep understanding of Finance Core Processes and Finance Systems ( AX, Basware, Qliksense).
• Experience with Cargowise system, both finance processes and system configuration is a plus.
• Strong financial analysis skills and accounting procedures.
• Experience in Project Management.

We are looking for a Finance IT Project Manager to join our Freight Forwarding Finance IT team and play a key role in driving the digital transformation, harmonization and optimization of Finance processes and systems across our global organization.

In this role, you will work at the intersection of Finance, IT and Business, leading projects that improve processes, data reliability, automation and decision-making across our global Finance organization.

What you’ll do

• Lead Finance IT projects from the Freight Forwarding perspective, including global initiatives such as MDM, EPM and ERP transformation.
• Manage project governance, planning, milestones, reporting, risks and escalations, ensuring successful delivery.
• Lead and coordinate a team of Project Officers and Analysts, providing direction and support throughout project execution.
• Partner with Finance and IT stakeholders across HQ, regions and countries to understand business needs and translate them into effective system and process solutions.
• Identify opportunities to automate, simplify, standardize and optimize Finance processes, driving efficiency and value creation.
• Lead the harmonization and implementation of Finance Core Model processes across key systems and tools.
• Oversee system enhancements, testing, validation and implementation, ensuring solutions are robust, secure and aligned with business requirements.
• Support the development of Business Intelligence and reporting solutions that provide reliable insights for Finance decision-making.
• Ensure Finance processes and systems are properly documented, maintained and continuously improved.
• Act as a key point of contact for Finance Key Users, supporting issue resolution and promoting best-practice sharing across the organization.

What we’re looking for

• Experience in Finance, Finance IT, Business Transformation, Project Management or a related field.
• Strong understanding of financial and operational processes, with the ability to translate business needs into technology solutions.
• Proven experience managing cross-functional and international projects.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across Finance, IT and Business teams.
• Analytical and problem-solving mindset, with a passion for process improvement and digital transformation.
• Experience with ERP, Finance systems, BI or automation solutions is a strong advantage.
• Fluency in English and the ability to work effectively in a global, multicultural environment.

Applicant's profile

• Deep understanding of Finance Core Processes and Finance Systems ( AX, Basware, Qliksense)
• Experience in Cargowise system, both finance processes and system configuration is a plus.
• Great level of understanding on Financial Accounting and Controlling business processes
• Project Management Experience
• Strong financial analysis skills, detailed oriented with expert knowledge of accounting procedures
• Highly proficient PC skills including; Office Suite (Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint, etc.)
• International experience and mind-set
• Ability to design and deploy application roadmaps, with solid technical and functional landscape
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
• Experience crafting effective monthly story-telling materials, weekly/monthly performance decks and financial management materials
• Problem solving, decision making, negotiation and conflict management skills are needed in day to day job
• Organization, time management, delegation, forward planning and strategic thinking skills are needed to drive the team and activities successfully to the target
