Job summary

GateSource HR Caribbean Division is seeking a Finance & Administration Manager to provide strategic financial oversight, drive IFRS reporting, and lead the Finance Department from a French Caribbean base. The role requires relocation to the Caribbean, bilingual English/French, and proven ability to manage cash flow, audits, and IT/finance systems.

You will report to the Regional Finance Director and work with cross-functional teams to achieve targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or ACCA certification required.
• Minimum 8+ years of management experience in finance or administration.
• Strong financial analysis and reporting capabilities.
• Proven leadership and people management experience.
• Excellent written and spoken English and French.

Responsibilities

Job Description

GateSource HR Caribbean Division is collaborating with a key client to recruit a Bilingual French/English Finance & Administration Manager in the French Caribbean. This pivotal role ensures strong financial and managerial oversight, steering the company toward its revenue, profitability, and cash flow objectives. The position leads the Finance Department, drives process optimization, and manages IT support services.

The role requires to relocate to the French Caribbean.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a strategic financial advisor to the General Manager and leadership team, ensuring compliance with internal controls.
• Oversee the Monthly Management Accounts package, delivering accurate financial reports, forecasts, and KPIs.
• Ensure adherence to International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and internal audit requirements.
• Implement and maintain robust internal controls across the organization.
• Oversee financial statement submissions, tax filings, and VAT compliance with local regulations.

Reporting & Forecasting

• Functionally report to the Regional Finance Director, with operational reporting to Branch Managers.
• Supervise the preparation and analysis of monthly management accounts and forecasts.
• Deliver accurate monthly trading performance forecasts, including debtor management, cash flow, and balance sheet analysis.
• Support the Annual Operating Plan and Budget preparation.
• Act as the primary liaison for Internal and External Auditors.

Team Leadership & Process Optimization

• Lead and develop the Finance and Credit Control teams, ensuring optimal performance.
• Drive cash flow objectives.
• Assess, update, and enhance Business Process Flows and financial policies.
• Identify training and development opportunities for the team.

Operational & IT Oversight

• Ensure the reliability of financial systems.
• Safeguard company assets, including inventory, fleet, IT infrastructure, and office equipment.
• Maintain clear and regular communication with senior leadership.
• Oversee the smooth operation of IT support services, including hardware, software, and mobile devices.
  

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, ACCA certification, or equivalent accounting qualification.
• 8+ years of management experience in finance, administration, or a similar role.
• Strong financial analysis and reporting skills.
• Proven team leadership and people management experience.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Strong communication and presentation skills across all levels.
• Bilingual fluency in English and French required.
