What We Need

Symbotic is seeking an Operations Trainer to join our Field Learning Center of Excellence within the Corporate HR function. Your job will be to coordinate, deliver, track, and reinforce standardized training programs for operational team members, with a primary focus on Cell, System, and Maintenance operations in Mexico. • Deliver and coordinate onboarding, certification, and ongoing training programs for Cell Operators, System Operators, Maintenance technicians, and other operational roles, ensuring workforce readiness, productivity, and consistent execution of standard work.
  • Own training scheduling, sequencing, completion tracking, certification records, retraining requirements, and audit ready documentation through the LMS or approved systems.
  • Partner with SMEs across Maintenance, Engineering, EHS, Quality, HR and Operations to ensure training content is delivered consistently and aligned to business needs.
  • Maintain a strong operations floor presence, providing real‑time coaching, performance reinforcement, and skill development support for operators and new hires.
  • Support localization and translation of training materials while ensuring alignment with enterprise learning standards and operational requirements.
  • Monitor training effectiveness through certification completion rates, productivity metrics, quality results, and operational performance indicators, identifying and addressing skill gaps as needed.
What You’ll Need
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Education, Human Resources, Operations, Industrial Technology, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience delivering structured training programs within manufacturing, logistics, warehouse automation, distribution, industrial operations, or other technical environments. Experience training frontline employees in standardized operational procedures, equipment operation, certification programs, or technical skills development strongly preferred.
  • Bilingual Spanish and English proficiency required, with the ability to effectively facilitate training and communicate with both local and global stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of STPS requirements, DC-3 training documentation, NOM-035 requirements, and other applicable workforce compliance standards, or the ability to quickly develop expertise.
  • Experience utilizing Learning Management Systems (LMS), maintaining training records, and managing certification tracking programs.
  • Strong facilitation, coaching, stakeholder management, communication, and organizational skills with the ability to work effectively across multiple shifts and operational environments.
Our Environment
  • Domestic and international travel required, including travel to U.S. operations for training, immersion, and launch support activities.
  • Combination of classroom, office, and operational floor environments with significant time spent coaching and supporting employees within warehouse or automated system operations.
  • This role is expected to be hired approximately 4‑6 months prior to site go‑live to support training immersion, ramp‑up readiness, launch execution, and ongoing operational performance.
