Vizgen is seeking a Field Application Scientist to introduce the MERSCOPE platform to customers across EMEA, focusing on biological discovery and data generation. The role includes training and wet lab/analysis support, with a strong emphasis on problem-solving and effective communication.

The successful candidate will manage technical aspects of customer demonstrations, represent Vizgen at conferences, and travel up to 50% within France, Nordics, and the UK. Fluent French/English required.

Qualifications

• PhD or MS in relevant scientific or engineering disciplines.
• 5+ years of customer support in life science genomics or imaging fields.
• Fluent in French and English.
• Willingness to travel 50%+ within France, Nordics, UK.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Experience with tissue RNA detection and single-cell/spatial biology.
• Ability to troubleshoot in the lab and collaborate with sales/R&D.

Responsabilités

• Develop expert-level knowledge of Vizgen’s technology and workflows.
• Present product information and scientific applications at seminars and trade shows.
• On-board, train, and support new customers to ensure protocols are understood.
• Collaborate with customers to design custom gene panels and data workflows.
• Provide technical guidance on experimental design for spatial analysis.
• Document issues and coordinate with support and R&D to implement solutions.
• Partner with sales to identify new opportunities and gather customer feedback.
