Flowserve is seeking an Application Engineer to support the design, installation, and operation of pumps and mechanical seals at customer sites and our repair center in Detroit. You will troubleshoot issues, prepare performance reports, and advise on repairs or replacements to optimize equipment performance.

The role requires BS Mechanical Engineering, strong communication, and willingness to travel for on-site work.

Competenze

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong customer-facing and problem-solving abilities.
• Wamiliarity with mechanical seals, pumps, and rotating equipment is a plus.

Mansioni

• Provide real-time technical support at customer sites and at the repair center.
• Liaise between customers and internal teams (sales, reliability, service, manufacturing).
• Troubleshoot technical problems onsite and in-house; generate analyses and reports.
• Prepare recommendations for repairs, upgrades or replacement equipment.
• Ensure proper installation and operation of products following standard procedures.
• Maintain accurate records of equipment, parts, and service activities.
