Photonics BW e.V. seeks a Field Application Engineer (Optical and high speed Digital) to support the sales team across Europe.

You will explain and demonstrate solutions to customers in pre-sales discussions, evaluate requirements and provide trainings to account managers and partners. Based in one of the covered countries (Italy, France, Spain or CIS), you will travel up to 50% to customer sites, conferences and trainings.

Qualifications

• Experience using high-speed optical/digital test equipment.
• Familiarity with BER testers, OTDRs and oscilloscopes.
• Strong knowledge of signal integrity in high-speed links.
• Excellent problem-solving and customer-facing skills.
• Fluent in English; willingness to travel up to 50%.

Responsabilités

• Provide pre-sales and post-sales technical support.
• Demonstrate solutions and perform technical evaluations.
• Train account managers, customers and distributors.
• Travel to customer sites and conferences as needed.
• Collaborate with sales and engineering teams across EMEA.
