Job summary

ESRF - The European Synchrotron Radiation Facility in Grenoble seeks a Buildings Operation and Maintenance Technician to support the 41 buildings, 100,000 m² site, and associated infrastructure. You will oversee maintenance tasks, interface with the waste-management sub-contractor, and contribute to safe, compliant operations.

The role requires a technician diploma in Building Construction or Maintenance, 5+ years of relevant experience, proficiency with Word/Excel/MS Project and CMMS (GMAO),

Qualifications

• Technician diploma in Building Construction or Building Maintenance or equivalent.
• Fluency in French and professional English is required.
• Five years of relevant experience in maintenance, finishing works, construction or renovations.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, MS Project and CMMS software (GMAO in French).

Responsibilities

• Monitor furniture and equipment for the on-site guesthouse and restaurant.
• Ensure daily interface with the sub-contractor in charge of the waste management contract.
