Responsibilities

• Assists fitters and welders in carrying out their duties in the manufacture and assembly of ASME code pressure vessels, FCCU fabrication, job shop projects, etc.
• Grinds surface of welds upon completion of welding processes.
• Assists forklift drivers in transporting materials and work in process with Fabrication Shop.
• Cleans Fabrication Shop and Yard to maintain appearance and safety.
• Tack welds and hand burns parts as required.
• Operates overhead cranes and forklift trucks, sandblasts and paints parts as required.
• Prepares projects for hydro testing and hydro tests per customer requirements.
