Meijer is seeking a Stocking Clerk to ensure shelves are fully stocked and ready for customer shopping. The role emphasizes friendly customer service, efficient restocking, and adherence to store standards.

Responsibilities include stocking, backstock management, and collaboration with leadership to maintain orderly aisles, while working overnight shifts to prepare the store for the day ahead.

Qualifications

• Able to learn basic technology and use store systems.
• Works well in a team and supports shared goals.
• Stays calm in a fast-paced environment.
• Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.
• Experience with pallet jacks or forklifts is a plus.

As a Stocking Clerk, you play a critical role in keeping our store running smoothly. Your work ensures shelves are fully stocked for our customers to provide an exceptional shopping experience.

You'll:

• Stock shelves with a variety of food and grocery products
• Move product from pallets or carts to the correct shelf locations efficiently and accurately
• Pull backstock and dispose of cardboard and trash in designated back-room areas
• Work closely with leadership to ensure assigned areas are completed on time
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
• Provide friendly, respectful interactions with customers when needed
• Work overnight shifts to prepare the store for the day ahead
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly

What You Bring:
