Parker Aerospace, Exotic Metals Forming Division, is seeking an Experienced Quality Inspector to verify parts and assemblies against drawings, specifications, and customer requirements. The role involves inspections across receiving, in-process, and final stages under supervision, with emphasis on precision and adherence to quality standards.

The position requires close collaboration with production and quality teams, strong attention to detail, and strict compliance with procedures and safety.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • High school math skills and basic problem-solving ability.
  • Familiarity with machine tools and precision instruments.
  • Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T); knows the different symbol and how to apply them.

  • Complete training modules 7-10 or demonstrate understanding of and the ability to complete the following: First Article inspection, Fastener, Fixture inspection and GD&T.
  • Applies Partmarks to product.
  • Performs first article inspections
  • Visually inspect or check parts using a variety of precision measuring instruments.
  • Check dimensions and finishes against sketches, blueprints, manufacturing planning and specifications.
  • Follow written and verbal instructions
  • Perform all work in accordance with established standards and safety procedures.

Experienced Quality Inspector (Aerospace)

Day Shift Position, estimated hours may be Monday through Thursday, 4:00am - 2:30pm.

The Experienced Quality Inspector is responsible for inspecting and verifying parts, components, and assemblies to ensure they meet applicable drawings, specifications, work instructions, quality standards, and customer requirements. This role performs inspections throughout the manufacturing process, including receiving, in-process, and final inspection, under the direction of certified inspectors or a supervisor.

This role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to follow established procedures, and a commitment to maintaining compliance with company and customer quality requirements. The inspector works closely with production, quality, and supervisory teams to help ensure parts are processed accurately, defects are identified in a timely manner, and finished products meet required standards before release.

Physical Requirements
  • Use of protective equipment such as safety glasses as required to prevent injuries.
Working Conditions
  • Demonstrate proper and safe operation of equipment, and personal protective equipment including, but not limited to, safety glasses/full face shield, hearing protection, heat reflective body garments and gloves as required.

Pay, Benefits, Work Schedule
Competitive Compensation
  • Pay Range: $23.5/hr to $37.1/hr
  • Participation in Annual Incentive Program
