Job summary

Hucency, a French cybersecurity company, seeks an Experienced Django AI Developer to join its technical team in Roubaix. You will design and build web applications, implement REST APIs with Django REST Framework, and help advance AI-powered development tools while prioritizing secure coding.

You’ll work closely with developers and UI/UX designers, write technical docs, and contribute to security best practices (OWASP).

Responsibilities

We are looking for a Django Developer to join the Hucency technical team based in Roubaix (59).

Reporting to the Technical Director, you will help design and develop our web applications, which are at the heart of our cybersecurity awareness platform.

At a company specializing in cybersecurity, you’ll pay special attention to code security and be encouraged to take advantage of AI-powered development tools.

In this role, your responsibilities will include:

Development

• Design, develop, and maintain web applications using Python and Django;
• Developing REST APIs with Django REST Framework;
• Create and manage relational databases;
• Designing interfaces.

Quality and Safety

• Ensure the security, performance, and quality of the code by applying best practices for secure development;
• Conduct tests, participate in code reviews, and fix bugs.

Collaboration and Continuous Improvement

• Collaborate with developers and UI/UX designers;
• Write and update technical documentation;
• Take the initiative in proposing ways to continuously improve applications and work methods.

Qualifications

Education and Experience

• Education in computer science, web development, or a related field;
• Demonstrable professional experience in Django development;

Technical Skills

• Strong knowledge of the Python programming language and the Django framework;
• Knowledge of SQL;
• Familiarity with Git and GitHub;
• Knowledge of Django REST Framework, web security best practices (OWASP), and AI-powered development tools is a plus.
