Overview

Project Operations Business Division – Projects Department is looking for Expediting & Logistics Coordinator (F / M).


Location: Rueil-Malmaison

Role context: The Expediting & Logistics Coordinator plays a key role in cutting-edge projects focused on energy transition, low-carbon solutions, and renewable technologies. This role operates within the Project Services Department of the Project Operations Business Division and reports directly to the Supply & Subcontracting Group Manager.


Missions


  • Acting as the key interface between the project team and the equipment supplier, overseeing material procurement, monitoring equipment manufacturing, and coordinating timely deliveries.

  • Ensuring the prompt and accurate release of purchase orders.

  • Managing the expediting process to keep procurement on track.

  • Coordinating and optimizing deliveries to the manufacturing yard, client site, or other suppliers.


Key responsibilities


  • Procurement Oversight — Manages the full procurement cycle in SAP—from processing purchase requests to ensuring accurate and timely release of Purchase Orders, while resolving supplier deviations.

  • Supplier Expediting & Performance Monitoring — Leads supplier kick-off meetings, tracks manufacturing progress, ensures compliance with contractual obligations, and proactively addresses delays through detailed reporting and corrective action plans.

  • Logistics Coordination — Organizes and supervises equipment deliveries to various destinations, maintains real-time tracking, and negotiates transport orders within defined responsibilities.

  • Risk Management & Communication — Identifies critical suppliers, conducts expediting visits, manages claims and back charges, and ensures transparent communication with project stakeholders through regular updates and escalation when needed.


Knowledge and Required Level

Training as a Master’s graduate (BAC+5) specialized in purchasing and / or logistics;


You have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within industrial projects — particularly in refining, petrochemicals, energy transition, or renewable energy sectors.


You have a background in team leadership and subcontractor coordination, and you demonstrate a strong technical understanding of equipment manufacturing processes and the associated documentation requirements.


You are familiar with Incoterms, international logistics practices, and the commercial and legal documentation involved in major export operations.


You have proven ability to collaborate effectively within multicultural and international teams.
