Job summary

Via is seeking an Expansion Intern to help launch and scale new markets worldwide. You will gain hands-on experience across entrepreneurship, operations, product, and marketing, contributing to real projects and learning from experienced teammates.

Based in Paris or Berlin, you will support the rollout of Via-enabled mobility services in Germany and contribute to expansion across global markets. This is a full-time 40 hours/week internship for 6 months, with possibilities for working students.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to project planning for setting up Via-enabled mobility services with new partners.
• Lead testing efforts for global launches and provide ongoing support for project success.
• Ensure engineering teams get timely feedback to improve the product.
• Leverage Via's knowledge base to help partners maximize usage of our technology and aid scaling.
• Collaborate with Berlin, Paris, London, Berlin, and New York teams to test and implement product improvements.

As an Expansion Intern, you'll get a front-row seat to how Via launches and scales new markets around the world. You'll gain hands-on experience across entrepreneurship, Operations, Product, and Marketing, work on real projects, learn from experienced teammates, and see how different teams come together to bring new ideas to life.

And no two launches look the same. One week, you might be helping launch an on-demand service alongside electric buses; the next, supporting a new university shuttle or an entire city transit system. That's what makes Expansion so exciting: you'll get to see the many different ways Via is reimagining public transportation.

Based in either Paris or Berlin, you'll support the launch and growth of our services in Germany while also contributing to expansion projects across Via's global markets.

This is a full-time internship (40 hours/week) for 6 months, starting as soon as possible, ideally in October or November. We're also open to working students.

What You'll Do:

• Contribute to the project planning required to set up Via-enabled mobility services for new partners
• Lead testing efforts for our new global launches, providing ongoing support as needed to enable and promote project success
• Ensure that our engineering team is getting the feedback they need to build the best product possible
• Tap Via's in-house product, operational, and marketing knowledge base to help partners get the most out of our technology, while contributing to our scaling growth
• Work collaboratively with our Berlin team, as well as other Via teammates in Paris, London, Berlin, and New York, to test and implement product improvements

• Base salary pay: €15/hour, which amounts to:
  • €2,300 - 2,400 gross per month, based on a 40-hour week
• If you're based in Paris: Hybrid working and a beautiful office in the heart of Paris (Saint-Lazare)
