Qualifications

• Significant experience (ideally over 8 years) in commodities sales, with a focus on energy and OTC solutions.
• Ability to analyze complex market data and trends to inform strategic decisions and client recommendations.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex financial concepts clearly and effectively.
• Strong leadership qualities with a collaborative mindset and experience mentoring junior colleagues.
• Deep understanding of client needs and the ability to deliver exceptional service.
• Advanced proficiency in analytical tools and knowledge of credit risk related metrics.
• Meticulous attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of accuracy and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key clients, providing tailored OTC solutions in the energy commodities space.
• Oversee the trade execution process, ensuring accuracy in trade booking, order taking, and compliance with regulatory standards.
• Mentor junior team members in best practices for trade execution.
• Analyze market trends and drivers to identify new business opportunities.
• Develop and implement strategic sales initiatives that align with market conditions and client needs.
• Partner with trading, research, corporate banking, and risk management teams to deliver comprehensive solutions to clients.
• Facilitate effective communication between departments to enhance client service.
• Lead efforts to refine and optimize the sales process, including our e-platform offering.
• Ensure efficiency and effectiveness in client interactions and trade execution.
• Provide guidance and support to junior team members, fostering a culture of learning and professional growth.
• Monitor sales performance metrics and prepare reports for senior management, highlighting achievements, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.
