Pinon Unified School District is seeking an Exceptional Student Service Bus Monitor to ensure the safety and well-being of students during transportation to and from school. You will assist the bus driver, monitor behavior, and report incidents while maintaining a calm, professional demeanor.

The role requires a high school diploma, excellent communication skills, the ability to work with children of all ages, and knowledge of first aid and emergency procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work with children of all ages.
• Knowledge of first aid and emergency procedures.
• Ability to stand, sit, and move around the bus for an extended period of time.
• Ability to maintain a calm and professional demeanor in stressful situations.
• Must be able to pass a background check and physical test.

Responsabilités

• Assist the bus driver in maintaining a safe and orderly bus environment.
• Monitor the behavior of students and report any incidents to the appropriate authorities.
• Ensure that students are following all safety regulations and procedures.
• Maintain accurate attendance records for each student.
• Provide first aid assistance when necessary.
• Communicate with parents and school administrators about any issues that arise during transportation.
• Keep the interior of the bus clean and free from clutter.
