Ruston Paving is a commercial and industrial paving contractor with offices in New York, Virginia, and North Carolina. The Excavation and Grading Equipment Operator role emphasizes teamwork, safety, and efficiency on site as you help prepare and lay pavement on various projects.

The position requires at least 2 years of equipment operation experience and a valid driver’s license. We value reliability, good communication, and the ability to work in all weather conditions in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of equipment operation experience.
• Site excavation and/or paving experience required.
• Valid and appropriate in-state driver’s license preferred.
• Ability to work in all weather conditions and meet attendance requirements.
• Willingness to cross-train and follow safety procedures on site.

Responsabilités

• Operates excavator, grader, bulldozer, backhoe, loader, skid steer, asphalt paver, roller, reclaimer, stabilizer, and milling machine.
• Assists grading or paving crews to install or remove materials and assist with hand tools as needed.
• Performs routine maintenance and reports mechanical issues for repairs.
• Completes pre- and post-trip inspections of vehicles and equipment.
• Maintains safety and site standards, including traffic control duties as required.
• Other duties as assigned.
