Job summary

GAC International France is seeking a seasoned Homologation & Certification Manager to lead vehicle type approvals, regulatory compliance, and EPR responsibility for France and Europe.

You will coordinate between Global HQ, European entities, certification authorities, and French transport authorities to ensure WVTA, COC, and SIV procedures meet all statutory requirements for timely market entry.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of dedicated experience in automotive vehicle homologation, type approval, or regulatory affairs.
• In-depth knowledge of European WVTA, COC issuance, CNIT registration codes, French SIV, and EPR directives.
• Experience with Automotive OEMs, national sales companies, technical services, or major importers.
• Native or business fluent French and fluent English for HQ coordination.
• Strong technical rigor, organization, and ability to manage complex certification projects under tight timelines.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end vehicle homologation and approvals (WVTA, COC, CNIT) for the French market.
• Oversee registration requirements, technical documentation, and administrative procedures with authorities.
• Ensure EPR compliance for ELV, batteries, tires, and packaging waste management.
• Coordinate as the technical liaison between Global HQ, European teams, and regulatory bodies.
• Monitor evolving French and EU regulations and advise on product adaptations.
