Job summary

Applied Materials, Inc. is seeking an Installation Engineer to support European regions, primarily in France, Germany, Ireland and Italy. You will join the iTeam to install, connect, test, and hand over semiconductor production equipment, traveling extensively across Europe.

The role offers full training, mentoring, and opportunities to be involved in continuous improvement projects while ensuring safety and quality standards are met.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master degree with technical background is required.
• Good English communication skills (written and spoken).
• Willingness to travel up to 75% of time across Europe.
• Troubleshooting skills to solve mechanical and electrical issues during installation.

Responsibilities

• Perform independently installation tasks from integration to inspection of tools.
• Follow checklists and procedures; ensure schematics are available before work.
• Test equipment with guidance from senior engineers and diagnostics.
• Communicate status and non-conformances; coordinate with customers.
• Participate in continuous improvement projects to reduce cycle time and costs.
• Adhere to security policies and quality standards.
