Job Overview

As the Business Development Manager for our Foam Technologies business, you will play a critical role in driving new business and supporting an established customer base in both the medical and cosmetics sectors. Your primary focus will be closing new business, maintaining and growing a base portfolio, and expanding the sales funnel. You will be responsible for promoting and selling innovative medical and cosmetic technologies across Europe, while nurturing relationships with existing clients and securing new opportunities. This position requires a dynamic and results‑driven individual who can navigate both industries to meet targets and fuel growth. If you are a motivated, results‑oriented sales professional with experience in the medical and cosmetics industries, this is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact and drive the growth of our products in the EU market.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to close new business within the EU, with a focus on both medical and cosmetics markets, while expanding the sales funnel.
  • Manage and grow a base portfolio of customers worth $1.5M by maintaining strong relationships, identifying upselling opportunities, and ensuring satisfaction within both medical and cosmetic sectors.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities with manufacturers, brands, distributors, and other stakeholders in both the medical and cosmetics industries across the EU.
  • Drive the introduction of new medical and cosmetic technologies, ensuring successful customer adoption, product launches, and revenue generation.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision‑makers, including healthcare professionals, product developers, purchasing managers, and business executives.
  • Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and technical consultations to educate customers on the benefits and applications of medical and cosmetic technologies.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, product development, and customer support, to ensure smooth product launches, customer satisfaction, and overall sales success.
  • Monitor market trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory requirements in both the medical and cosmetics industries to adjust sales strategies and capitalize on emerging opportunities.
  • Prepare and submit regular sales reports, forecasts, and market insights to senior management to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
  • Represent the company at key industry events, trade shows, and conferences to enhance brand presence and build a strong network within both sectors.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Life Sciences, Chemistry, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of successful business development or sales experience in the medical device, healthcare, or cosmetics industries.
  • Proven track record of closing large deals and achieving sales targets in both medical and cosmetic markets.
  • Strong understanding of both the medical and cosmetics sectors, including key players, market trends, regulatory environments, and customer needs.
  • Experience with medical technologies, skincare products, or cosmetic formulations is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and sales tools to manage accounts, track progress, and streamline sales processes.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship‑building skills.
  • Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and thrive in a remote working environment.
  • Strong presentation skills with the ability to engage with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
  • Willingness to travel as needed for client meetings, product launches, and industry events across the EU region.
