Description du poste
Job Description

A vacancy for a Complex Electronic Systems development responsible (m / f) has arisen within Airbus Helicopters in Marignane. The successful applicant will join the Computers & Electronics department.

Helicopters integrate more and more advanced functions: situation awareness, mission management, flight control, which require increasing processing and graphical capabilities on‑board the aircraft.

On the other hand, the integration constraints are high, due to limited space and environmental constraints.

This leads to develop highly integrated computers and displays technologies, compliant with stringent environmental conditions (thermal, vibration, EMI), which becomes increasingly challenging.

In this context, Airbus Helicopters aims at selecting technologies and suppliers to reach the best compromise between performance and integration without endangering safety.

Your working environment

Major economic hub with Marseille‑Provence Airport, Marignane is a dynamic city in the southeast of France. It is located near the cities of Aix‑en‑Provence and Marseille, which host a rich cultural and tourist offer. Close to the beaches of the Côte Bleue, it offers many options for water sports activities.

How we care for you
  • Financial rewards: Attractive salary, agreements on success and profit sharing schemes, employee savings plan abounded by Airbus and employee stock purchase plan on a voluntary basis.
  • Work / Life Balance: Extra days‑off for special occasions, holiday transfer option, a Staff council offering many social, cultural and sport activities and other services.
  • Wellbeing / Health: Complementary health insurance coverage (disability, invalidity, death). Depending on the site: health services centre, concierge services, gym, carpooling application.
  • Individual development: Great upskilling opportunities and development prospects with unlimited access to +10 000 e‑learning courses to develop your employability, certifications, expert career path, accelerated development programmes, national and international mobility.
  • At Airbus, we support you to work, connect and collaborate more easily and flexibly. Wherever possible, we foster flexible working arrangements to stimulate innovative thinking.
Your challenges

Within the Systems Lead Function, you will manage the selection and the development of onboard computers and displays, and the associated technologies from early stage reflections, to supplier selection, development, integration, certification, entry into service and through‑life support and upgrades.

  • Assess the technical proposals provided by the suppliers.
  • Manage the suppliers throughout the development.
  • Lead the main design and qualification reviews.
  • Manage the interface between the suppliers and Airbus Helicopters specialists.
  • Provide justifications required for certification.
