Un leader de l'industrie aéronautique recherche un spécialiste des ordinateurs et des affichages embarqués pour gérer la sélection et le développement de technologies critiques. Basé à Plan-de-Cuques, ce poste exige une solide expérience en ingénierie électronique et la capacité de travailler de manière autonome. Vous encadrerez les revues de conception et collaborerez étroitement avec les fournisseurs. Un diplôme en aéronautique est requis.

Qualifications

  • Expérience dans la conception d'ordinateurs embarqués et la certification électronique (DO254).
  • Expérience pratique en ingénierie.
  • Autonomie et bonne capacité d'organisation.

Responsabilités

  • Établir la spécification des exigences basées sur les besoins des architectes systèmes.
  • Évaluer les propositions techniques des fournisseurs.
  • Gérer les fournisseurs tout au long du développement.
  • Diriger les principales revues de conception et de qualification.
  • Gérer l'interface entre les fournisseurs et les spécialistes d'Airbus Helicopters.
  • Fournir le support technique pour l'intégration des hélicoptères.

Job Description

Helicopter Onboard Computers and Displays specialist (m/f) has arisen within Airbus Helicopters in Marignane. The successful applicant will join the Computers & Electronics department.

Helicopters integrate more and more advanced functions: situation awareness, mission management, flight control, which require increasing processing and graphical capabilities on‑board the aircraft.

On the other hand, the integration constraints are high, due to limited space and environmental constraints.

This leads to develop highly integrated computers and displays technologies, compliant with stringent environmental conditions (thermal, vibration, EMI), which becomes increasingly challenging.

In this context, Airbus Helicopters aims at selecting technologies and suppliers to reach the best compromise between performance and integration without endangering safety.

Your challenges

Within the Systems Lead Function, you will manage the selection and the development of onboard computers and displays, and the associated technologies from early stage reflections, to supplier selection, development, integration, certification, Entry into service and through‑life support and upgrades.

Your tasks and responsibilities
  • Establish the requirement specification of the equipment based on the needs defined by the system architects and the function design responsible.
  • Assess the technical proposals provided by the suppliers.
  • Manage the suppliers throughout the development.
  • Lead the main design and qualification reviews.
  • Manage the interface between the suppliers and Airbus Helicopters specialists.
  • Provide justifications required for certification.
  • Provide technical support for helicopter integration, ground and flight tests and for the Final Assembly Line.
Your profile
  • University degree in Aerospace and / or Electronic Engineering.
  • Experience with design of onboard computers and digital electronics, and Electronic certification (DO254).
  • Broad practical experience of engineering.
  • Excellent organisational skills.
  • Autonomous way of working.
  • Good relationship / communication skills.
  • Negotiation level in English.
  • This position requires a security clearance or will require being eligible for clearance by the recognised authorities.
