Job summary

Alpharus Health in Springfield, IL is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper (Environmental Services Technician) to maintain clean and safe residential spaces at the Springfield Residential Center. The role supports a behavioral health program and requires following infection control policies.

Responsibilities include cleaning offices, bathrooms, and common areas, maintaining equipment, and adhering to safety protocols. Compensation ranges from $15.00 to $18.23 per hour with merit reviews and benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months related work experience.
• Ability to work a full time schedule.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of housekeeping duties including, but not limited to, cleaning offices, vacuuming, sweeping, cleaning and sanitizing bathrooms.
• Maintaining cleaning equipment and performing routine maintenance to ensure proper use.
• Using materials and supplies in accordance with manufacturer's directions and following Infection Control policies and procedures.
• Other duties as assigned
