Cainiao Group in Paris is seeking an experienced Safety and Loss Prevention professional to develop, implement, and continuously improve EHSS policies across French operations. You will lead audits, incidents investigations, and coordinate with operations to embed safety in new sites and major changes.

The role requires fluency in French and English, knowledge of ISO 14001/45001, and 3+ years in logistics or related sectors. Chinese language skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of relevant experience in Safety and/or Loss Prevention.
• Knowledge of French health and safety, environmental, fire safety and loss prevention laws.
• Experience with EHSS and Loss Prevention management systems, policies and procedures.
• Basic knowledge of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
• Fluency in French and English; Chinese would be an advantage.
• Experience in logistics/warehousing/transport/e-commerce in France preferred.
• Strong communication and incident management skills with cross-functional collaboration.

Description du poste

1. Develop, implement and continuously improve Safety (EHS) and Loss Prevention (LP) policies and procedures for Cainiao’s business operations in France, ensuring compliance with applicable local laws, regulations and corporate requirements.

2. Establish and manage the EHSS and Loss Prevention audit and inspection framework, identify potential risks and compliance gaps, and follow up on corrective and preventive actions to drive continuous improvement.

3. Lead emergency response activities and workplace incident investigations, including root cause analysis, corrective action planning and follow-up until formal closure.

4. Work closely with operations and other relevant teams to ensure that EHSS and Loss Prevention requirements are properly incorporated into new site launches, new projects, operational changes and peak-season activities.

5. Provide professional EHSS and Loss Prevention guidance to operational teams and promote a strong safety and risk prevention culture across the organization.

Job Requirements

1. At least 3 years of relevant experience in Safety and/or Loss Prevention.

2. Good knowledge of French occupational health and safety, environmental, fire safety and loss prevention laws, regulations and compliance requirements.

3. Familiarity with the development and implementation of EHSS and Loss Prevention management systems, policies and procedures.

4. Basic knowledge of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management systems.

5. Fluency in both French and English is required. Proficiency in Chinese would be considered an advantage.

6. Experience in the logistics, warehousing, transportation, e-commerce or express delivery industry in France is preferred.

7. Strong communication, coordination, problem-solving and incident management skills, with the ability to work effectively with operational and cross-functional teams.
