Job summary

Anthropic seeks an Applied AI Engineer for its Enterprise team in Paris to guide France’s largest businesses to the frontier of AI and help them deploy Claude. You will be the Claude Platform specialist and trusted technical advisor, guiding engineering teams on architecture, agent design, and evaluation, while presenting a compelling business case to executives in French and English.

Qualifications

• Native or fluent French, written and spoken.
• 6+ years in software/solutions architecture or related roles.
• Experience in a pre-sales or technical advisory role selling into large enterprises.
• Production experience with LLM-powered applications, including prompting and deployment at scale.
• Hands-on engineering background to relate to engineering teams.
• Familiarity with enterprise security, compliance, data residency and governance.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Enterprise Account Executives and Applied AI Architects to guide French enterprise customers from first conversation to Claude adoption.
• Lead the technical side of opportunities and remain the customer’s technical advisor during deployment.
• Prepare customers and their systems integrators for delivery: agree target architecture and success criteria, stay available to advise during build.
• Guide large enterprises to deploy Claude in operations, products, and ways of working.
• Help customer engineering teams see how to build on Claude, including architecture and agent design.
• Build and present the business value case for Claude with C-level executives in French and English, linking capabilities to outcomes.
• Guide customers through long procurement cycles, including technical evaluations, proofs of concept, security and architecture reviews, and a path to production.
• Travel to customer sites across France for executive meetings, workshops, and relationship building.
