Jobgether is seeking an Engineering Manager dedicated to Security Standards and Hardening in France. You will lead a team responsible for implementing rigorous security practices across operating systems, cloud infrastructure, edge environments, and modern software platforms, aligning with FIPS, CIS, STIG, FedRAMP, and the Cyber Resilience Act.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading and developing engineering teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, STEM, or an equivalent technical discipline.
• Significant experience with FIPS- or Common Criteria-certified products and strong knowledge of security standards.
• Hands-on experience with DISA STIG or CIS benchmarks and related compliance tooling.
• Strong knowledge of software security and secure engineering practices.
• Experience in Agile software development environments.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.

• Lead and develop a team of engineers from graduate to senior levels.
• Coach team members and provide career guidance with actionable feedback.
• Establish and monitor team health indicators and foster a high-performing culture.
• Implement disciplined engineering processes and promote best practices.
• Represent the team with stakeholders, customers, and partners in the open-source community.
• Plan and manage progress against goals and deliverables.
• Support products in meeting security requirements and industry standards (FIPS, CIS, STIG, FedRAMP, Cyber Resilience Act).
• Lead initiatives involving cryptographic modules and FIPS 140 requirements.
• Collaborate with industry organizations to advance secure OS deployments and compliance practices.
• Guide engineering teams to adopt security best practices and maintain high software quality.
• Identify opportunities to improve workflows, collaboration, and delivery.
