Job summary

Euronext is seeking a hands-on Head of Engineering for Digital Assets in Paris to own the technical architecture and lead the engineering team as a player-coach. You will drive the design of tokenised issuance, trading, settlement platforms and custody solutions with a focus on security and compliance.

The role requires deep DLT expertise, cross-chain knowledge, and a proven track record in financial markets architecture.

Qualifications

Seven+ years of experience in solution architecture.
Deep distributed-systems and DLT architecture experience.
Experience with token standards for regulated securities is a plus.
Hands-on security architecture and threat-modelling skills.
Knowledge of capital-markets settlement (delivery-versus-payment) is desirable.
Degree in computer science, engineering or related field; cloud/blockchain certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

Own end-to-end architecture for digital asset solutions, combining DLT with traditional market infrastructure.
Design cross-chain topology for institutional/CCP and DeFi distribution.
Define on-chain compliance model and regulated security-token standards.
Architect custody and key management around MPC solutions.
Set standards for code, review, testing, and secure-by-design delivery.
Lead threat modelling and security architecture efforts.
Plan evolution of the team as products move from build to run.
Make build/buy/partner decisions on chain, custody, and audit.
Collaborate with product, legal, regulatory and client working groups.
Stay hands-on in incidents and on the highest-risk components.
