Qualifications

• Background in aeronautics, propulsion, or thermal engineering.
• Minimum 2 years of professional experience in propulsion engineering or applied thermodynamics.
• Proven mastery of thermodynamic simulation tools and turbomachinery sizing.

Responsibilities

• Steer propulsion system preliminary design and thermodynamic cycle assessments for next-generation engine concepts.
• Develop optimization workflows and simulation capabilities to evaluate thrust, fuel consumption (SFC), weight, and Time On Wing.
• Deliver qualified engine performance models to feed aircraft preliminary integration studies and overall aircraft sizing.
• Perform critical technical evaluations of engine manufacturers' design proposals and specify propulsion installation requirements.
• Quantify the performance potential of novel powerplant architectures in collaboration with acoustics and aerodynamics domains.
