Job summary

Technip Energies in Nanterre/La Défense is seeking a Strategy Analyst to join the Corporate Strategy team. You will develop data-driven insights, build strategic studies, and support the definition and execution of the Group’s strategy.

The role involves conducting market analyses, supporting strategic roadmaps, and preparing presentations for senior management while collaborating with Finance, Technology & Innovation, and Commercial teams. Fluency in English is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, Business or related field.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in strategy consulting, corporate strategy or market analysis.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; knowledge of market intelligence tools (e.g. Rystad, IHS, Capital IQ) is a plus.
• Ability to structure and synthesize complex information.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Team player with ability to work in an international and cross-functional environment.
• Fluent in English (mandatory).

Responsibilities

• Conduct market and competitive analysis (trends, players, positioning, growth opportunities).
• Build strategic studies (SWOT, benchmarking, value chains, market sizing).
• Support the development and monitoring of strategic roadmaps.
• Contribute to the analysis of business models and identification of new opportunities.
• Prepare high-quality presentations and reports for senior management.
• Support cross-functional projects with Business Lines, Finance, Technology & Innovation, and Commercial teams.
• Contribute to strategic initiatives such as partnerships screening and M&A preliminary analyses.
