Job summary

LAT Nitrogen is seeking an Energy & Plant Efficiency Engineer to lead the optimization of energy management and GHG emissions across our plants in France. You will collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement strategic energy initiatives, while ensuring compliance with local and EU regulations and maintaining robust energy reporting.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in engineering or equivalent required.
• Experience in Production, Technical Development or Energy Management is favorable.
• Good understanding of production processes and plant interactions.
• Experience in Process Engineering, Energy & GHG reduction programs.
• Knowledge of engineering tools.
• Good business understanding and customer orientation.
• Project management skills and analytical thinking.
• High safety awareness, integrity and ethics.
• Strong networking in international, multicultural contexts.

Responsibilities

• Support and optimize energy management and GHG emissions reduction across plants.
• Contribute to energy efficiency strategy development and implementation at locations.
• Coordinate energy studies, data collection, and forecasts for energy and CO2.
• Coordinate and support energy and emissions management systems and audits.
• Identify funding, subsidies and tax relief opportunities at national level.
• Drive energy efficiency studies and projects and evaluate new energy technologies.
• Support plant profitability through benchmark activities.
