Atelier Ten is a member company of Surbana Jurong (“SJ”), a global urban, infrastructure and managed services consulting firm based in more than 120 offices across 40 countries.

You would be an integral member of an interdisciplinary environmental design consulting group and a key member of the company’s Energy Analysis practice. This position is in the New York City office and is not a remote position.

  • Support senior staff to coordinate sustainability assessments, energy and thermal comfort analysis, energy benchmarking, development of climate impact mitigation strategies, perform life cycle cost analysis, etc. on building and planning projects.
  • Collaborate closely with architects and design team members to make energy and carbon emissions improvement recommendations.
  • Assist colleagues with energy analysis-related work which includes simulating buildings to arrive at carbon emissions calculations, annual cost analysis, and life cycle cost analysis.
  • Attend site visits and project meetings, and present analyses to the stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain in-house databases and spreadsheet tools, methods, and standards.
