Job summary

AECI Limited is seeking a Process Assistant to support safe and efficient emulsion production at our Guadeloupe site. You will assist with base emulsion production, operate equipment, monitor processes, sample materials and keep precise records to ensure quality and compliance.

You will work within SHE guidelines, support waste minimisation, and collaborate with the team to drive continuous improvements in operation and material utilisation.

Qualifications

• Matric or N3 with Mathematics and Science.
• 1-2 years experience in Chemical Operations.
• Able to fully operate one plant.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the safe and efficient operation of the emulsion manufacturing.
• 0rview the production of base emulsion in accordance with approved procedures and product specifications.
• Operate assigned equipment within authorised limits and conduct routine equipment checks.
• Monitor process conditions and report deviations, abnormalities or equipment concerns.
• Assist with the safe transfer of emulsion to storage silos and road tankers.
• Maintain accurate production, sampling and operational records.
• Identify and report equipment defects and maintenance requirements.
• Minimise waste, spillages, product losses and unnecessary raw material consumption.
• Comply with Safety, Health and Environmental requirements and site rules.
• Communicate operational information during shift handovers and with the Team Leader.
• Participate in improvement initiatives and support corrective actions.
