The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) seeks an Early Intervention Service Coordinator to support the NC Infant-Toddler Program. The role centers on empowering families as their child’s first teachers and coordinating services across disciplines.

Eligible candidates drive IFSPs, collaborate with families, and coordinate therapy services, with daily travel within the CDSA catchment area. Workdays are Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Special Education, Elementary Education or Early Childhood Education, Psychology and two years of professional experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in human services and three years of professional experience.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience accepted.

Responsabilités

• Collaborate with families and team members to develop functional IFSPs.
• Work with multi-disciplinary teams to identify family needs for supports and services.
• Conduct home visits to provide guidance and coordinate care.
• Coordinate services such as speech, occupational, and physical therapy.
• Arrange and monitor early intervention services to ensure continuity and quality.
• Plan for children’s smooth transition to other services at age three.
