Salomon, headquartered in Annecy, France, seeks an EMEA Trade Terms Specialist to implement and govern trade terms across the EMEA region. You will act as the central link between Trade Terms strategy and commercial teams, ensuring timely deployment of frameworks and seasonal initiatives leveraging close collaboration with Sales, Finance, Merchandising and Customer Service.

Qualifications

  • 1 to 3 years of experience in Sales Operations, Commercial Finance, Business Analytics, Controlling, Sales Support, or similar.
  • A first experience in commercial and/or finance-related environments is highly valued; a solid finance background is strongly preferred.
  • Strong process management capabilities with the ability to translate guidelines into structured, executable processes.
  • Solid understanding of end-to-end seasonal commercial processes and sales operations, ideally within a B2B environment.
  • Experience with process tracking and reporting tools, dashboards, and project management tools.
  • Knowledge of project management and change management methodologies.
  • Ability to identify operational risks, anticipate potential issues, and support mitigation plans.
  • Experience working with governance frameworks or compliance-related activities is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to provide actionable recommendations.
  • Excellent coordination, organization, and prioritization capabilities.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to collaborate across functions and levels of the organization.
  • Proactive, solution-oriented, and detail-oriented approach with the ability to perform effectively under time-sensitive deadlines.
  • Knowledge of SAP or other order management/business systems is a plus.
  • Fluent English required; French is a strong advantage, and another language is a plus.

Responsabilités

  • Implement trade terms in all EMEA countries and channels every season.
  • Translate trade term guidelines into localized rules and discounts; implement seasonal initiatives and calculate budgets.
  • Ensure framework compliance for international and national strategic accounts.
  • Support governance processes for trade terms.
  • Translate MOV guidelines into applicable MOV for product category and country.
  • Collect requests from merchandising or sales and verify compliance with guidelines.
  • Proactively alert management on major risks, deviations, or misinterpretations.
  • Document seasonal trade term rules for product category, country, channel and customer.
  • Produce training materials to secure understanding and correct use of trade terms and MOV.
  • Perform SOX compliance activities related to trade terms each season.
  • Periodically execute compliance controls for trade terms and MOV rules.
  • Track and report noncompliance to MOV rules and alert direct managers of deviations.

Job Description

We are looking for anEMEA Trade Terms Specialistto play a key role in the implementation and governance of Trade Terms across the EMEA region.

As the central link between Trade Terms strategy and commercial teams, you will ensure the effective deployment of commercial frameworks across countries and channels, with a direct impact on operational excellence, SOX compliance, margin protection, and the successful delivery of seasonal sell-in tools.

In this highly collaborative role, you will work closely with Sales, Finance, Merchandising and Customer Service teams to translate strategic guidelines into actionable processes and drive consistent execution across the region.

YourMainMissions:
Implementationoftradetermsin all EMEA countries and channelseveryseason
  • Under supervision from her/his manager, together with country and channel leaders, translate trade term guidelines into localized rules: convert all trade terms building block in country relevant discounts, implement seasonal keyinitiativesandcalculate key customer budgets for each salesperson.
  • With the support of his/her manager, ensure the implementation of Trade Terms framework for all international and national strategic accounts.
  • Support his/her manager in all trade terms governance process.
  • Translate MOV guidelines into applicable MOV for each product category, customertypeand country.
  • Collect specific terms or packages requests frommerchandisingorsalespersons, verify compliance withguidelinesandorganize approval by sales management.
  • Proactively inform and alert EMEA Management on major risks,deviationsand/or wrong interpretation of guidelines.
  • Document seasonal trade term rules for each product category, country,channeland customer.
  • Produce training materials to secure understanding and correct use of trade terms and MOV.
Controls and SOX compliance
