Socomec Sas is seeking a Senior R&D Manager to lead the operational rollout of the development strategy for power switching & monitoring products across the EMEA region, reporting to the Development Department.

You will manage a large in-house team and external partners, drive QCD milestones, and champion IoT, cybersecurity, and eco-design initiatives while guiding portfolio management and an ~€10 million budget.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years in Senior R&D Manager or executive role.
• Experience leading large teams (>30 people) in electromechanical/electronic environments.
• Strong knowledge of product development from spec to launch; international partners.
• C1-level English required.

Responsabilités

• Develop operational product roadmap with Marketing, PM, and manufacturing teams.
• Lead ~70 internal staff and ~50 subcontractors across multiple disciplines.
• Ensure QCD milestones and compliance with IEC/UL/GB/ATEX/SIL standards; meet time-to-market goals.
• Incorporate IoT, cybersecurity, and eco-design into product offerings.
• Oversee portfolio management, PLM, Data Management, ERP processes.
• Manage an R&D budget of ~€10 million; advocate for projects before executive committee.
