Santen is a long-established, ophthalmology-focused company seeking a communications leader to shape global messaging across EMEA. You will collaborate with Marketing, Medical Affairs and Public Affairs to raise awareness of eye health and strengthen Santen’s position as a trusted industry leader.

The role requires extensive media relations experience, English fluency, and a track record of delivering integrated communications for regulated environments.

Competenze

• Experience in external communications or corporate communications.
• Regional or international communications strategy development.
• Strong media relations across international and healthcare trade outlets.
• Excellent writing, editing and storytelling for technical topics.
• Stakeholder collaboration with Marketing, Medical Affairs and Commercial teams.
• Experience managing communications agencies.

• Develop external comms strategies across EMEA to strengthen reputation and priorities.
• Lead media engagement across international and healthcare trade media.
• Develop thought leadership and executive visibility programmes.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Medical Affairs and Public Affairs on campaigns and milestones.
• Support local markets with media engagement and reputation building.
• Coordinate earned, owned, and social media to amplify campaigns.
• Manage relationships with agencies and external partners.
• Monitor environment and manage issues when required.
• Measure impact of communications and adjust strategies.
• Ensure consistent messaging across regions.
