Job summary
Santen is seeking a Medical Science Liaison to serve as a scientific partner for ophthalmology. This field-based role focuses on advancing medical knowledge, supporting research initiatives, and delivering scientific exchange with healthcare professionals, KOLs, and internal stakeholders.
The MSL will support medical strategies, education, evidence generation, and cross-functional collaboration while maintaining the highest standards of scientific integrity and compliance.
Qualifications
- University degree in Life Sciences, Medicine, Pharmacy, Biology, or a related scientific discipline.
- Fluency in French and English is a must.
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Medical Science Liaison or in a comparable field-based Medical Affairs role.
- Willingness to travel extensively across France (up to 70%).
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain scientific relationships with ophthalmology KOLs, healthcare professionals, and academic institutions.
- Deliver high-quality scientific exchange and provide accurate medical information on Santen products and therapeutic areas.
- Support medical education materials and staff training.
- Represent Santen at congresses and engage with key experts.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support medical objectives.
