J.P. Morgan is seeking an Analyst to join the EMEA Diversified Industries Credit Risk team. You will analyze credit risk for Investment Grade and non‑Investment Grade borrowers, work with front office teams, and structure diverse credit relationships across regions.

You will cover diverse sectors, track earnings and liquidity, monitor risk metrics, and support onboarding of new clients with due diligence and credit analysis. Strong MS Office skills and global collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• Ability to interpret balance sheets, income statements and cash flow.
• Familiarity with cash flow modelling and valuation methods, incl. DCF.
• Broad understanding of macroeconomic factors affecting corporates.
• Knowledge of lending, capital markets and derivatives; covenant structures.
• Ability to build credibility with internal partners and credit officers.
• Clear verbal and written communication for decision support.
• Proficiency with MS Office: Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
• Self-starter, multitasker, adaptable to change.
• Collaborate across geography including London, Frankfurt, Paris, Mumbai.

Responsabilités

• Assume coverage of a portfolio of EMEA corporate clients across diversified sectors.
• Track financial performance, earnings, liquidity and covenant compliance.
• Monitor risk metrics and contribute to sector analyses and early warnings.
• Participate in due diligence for onboarding new EMEA clients and review existing ones.
• Prepare and analyze business models, cash flow generation, debt capacity and refinancing risk.
• Produce concise analysis with recommendations for facilities, limits, tenor, covenants, collateral and inter creditor arrangements.
• Support analysis and approval for leveraged finance and lending requests (RCFs, term loans, bonds).
• Develop knowledge of legal documentation for corporate markets and banking products.
• Participate in projects to improve processes and drive efficiencies using AI/LLM.
