HID Global in France is seeking an Embedded System Engineer to join its Electronics R&D team, responsible for specifying, developing, testing, and maintaining embedded software for HID’s electronic products across the lifecycle from architecture to production launch. The role requires strong embedded C skills, experience with embedded Linux, and professional English.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree in Embedded Systems, Software Engineering, Electronics, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of embedded software development in C.
• Experience with embedded Linux environments.
• Professional working proficiency in English.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.

Responsabilités

• Supports development and evolution of embedded software platforms across new and existing product lines.
• Drives software quality initiatives through automation, continuous improvement, and adoption of development best practices.
• Leads technical analysis, troubleshooting, and resolution of software-related issues throughout the product lifecycle.
• Supports prototype bring-up, configuration, and validation activities during development and pre-series production phases.
• Collaborates with hardware, software, and industrialization teams to deliver robust and reliable product solutions.
