Harmattan AI in Paris is seeking a Software Engineer (4+ years) to own gimbal control and GNC software running on custom hardware and embedded Linux. You will collaborate with Software, GNC, Mechanical, and Test Bench teams, spending time at desks, labs, and in field tests every few weeks.

Candidates should have solid experience in embedded C/C++, MCU, and real-time systems, with a strong robotics background and a track record of delivering complex software for autonomous platforms.

Qualifications

• Embedded software development with C/C++, MCU, and embedded Linux.
• Real-time constraints and low-level debugging experience.
• Experience with GNC frameworks and robotic architectures.
• Strong math background: linear algebra, quaternions, attitude estimation.

Responsabilités

• Design, build, and optimize embedded software on MCU and embedded Linux.
• Own gimbal control algorithms and GNC framework.
• Develop PC tools for telemetry analysis and diagnostics.
• Lead flight test preparations and post-flight data analysis.
• Define robust software architecture and cross-team collaboration.
• Mentor junior engineers.
