ARTURIA in France is seeking an Electronics Engineer to join our hardware team working on the electronics inside Arturia products and test equipment. You will own electronic features from requirements through design, validation and production, collaborating with firmware, mechanical, QA, test and industrialization teams.

You will balance performance, cost and delivery time while ensuring reliability for production, with potential for wider technical leadership for experienced applicants.

Qualifications

  • Experience developing electronic boards or subsystems for products or test equipment.
  • Confidence working with schematics, component selection, PCB design, simulation, testing, and electronic validation.
  • Experience in analog audio circuits, fast digital interfaces, or wireless subsystems.
  • An understanding of EMC, product safety, and production testing.
  • Some experience with embedded firmware or Python scripting for test and analysis would be welcome.
  • A careful and organized approach to problem solving, documentation, and technical decisions.
  • The ability to work well with people from different technical backgrounds.
  • A professional level of English.

Responsabilités

  • Lead the electronics work for a product or subsystem, from requirements through delivery.
  • Define the electronic architecture and select appropriate technical solutions and components.
  • Produce schematics and take part in PCB layout reviews.
  • Plan and prioritize the electronics work while keeping within the BOM budget.
  • Design, test, and qualify robust electronic solutions for products and test equipment.
  • Identify technical risks, edge cases, and integration issues early, then propose ways to address them.
  • Review schematics, layouts, and test approaches with other engineers.
  • Support integration, bring up, validation, industrialization, and the transition into series production.
  • Work with manufacturing partners and subcontractors when needed.
  • Document design choices, validation results, and production information clearly.
  • Help junior engineers understand the boards, tools, test setups, and working practices used by the team.
  • Keep up with relevant electronic technologies and share useful knowledge with the team.

Job Description
Your Mission
You will join our electronics team and work on the hardware inside Arturia products, as well as the equipment used to test them.
You will be responsible for complete electronic features and subsystems, from the first requirements through design, validation, and production. Your work will include electronic architecture, schematics, component selection, PCB layout reviews, testing, and qualification. Throughout the project, you will work closely with the firmware, mechanical, product, QA, test, and industrialization teams.
You will make practical choices between performance, cost, and delivery time while keeping the product reliable and suitable for production. For a more experienced candidate, the role can include wider technical leadership, mentoring, and ownership of a hardware domain.

Requirements
  • A degree in electronics or a related subject, or equivalent knowledge gained through professional experience.
  • Experience developing electronic boards or subsystems for products or test equipment.
  • Confidence working with schematics, component selection, PCB design, simulation, testing, and electronic validation.
  • Experience in at least one of the following areas: analog audio circuits, fast digital interfaces, or wireless subsystems.
  • For analog audio, this may include preamplifiers, filtering, ADC and DAC circuits, noise management, voltage controlled oscillator and amplifiers.
  • For digital interfaces, this may include DDR, LVDS, MIPI, USB, or Gigabit Ethernet.
  • For wireless systems, this may include WiFi, Bluetooth, BLE, 2.4 GHz radio, or integrated antennas.
  • Experience taking a prototype into series production and working with factories or subcontractors.
  • An understanding of EMC, product safety, and production testing.
  • Some experience with embedded firmware or Python scripting for test and analysis would be welcome.
  • A careful and organized approach to problem solving, documentation, and technical decisions.
  • The ability to work well with people from different technical backgrounds.
  • A professional level of English.
