A global manufacturing organization is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to support an expansion project in France. You will design and manage various electrical systems, collaborate with teams, and ensure project goals are met. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Electrical Engineering and a minimum of 5 years' experience in similar projects. Fluency in French is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in design and construction projects.
• Experience with clean utilities such as clean steam and purified water.
• Ability to travel to France or be based within Europe.

Electrical Engineer -Hauts-de-France- 12-Month Contract

Our client, aglobal (bio)pharmaceutical manufacturing organisation, is recruiting for an Electrical Engineer to join them on their new expansion project. Based in a charming French location, this is on a contractual basis, and will involve significantly growing the sites capacity for the manufacture of Biologics.

Responsibilities and Requirements:

• Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering
• Prior experience of supporting CAPEX investment projects from concept to operational handover
• Experience of working with internal stakeholders / internal and external contract teams
• Ideally French language skills
• Must be able to travel to France or be based within Europe.
• Design experience with – Electrical Power Systems – power systems earthing, lightning protection and low voltage LV) Systems
• Design experience – Building Services Systems – Lighting general and emergency, Fire detection and alarms and IT infrastructure.
• Design experience of process equipment
• Experience of pharmaceutical plant / operations or chemical engineering including hazardous areas
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience including experience with design and construction projects for the expansion of manufacturing facilities.
• Experience with complex projects and working in or around operating facilities.
• Experience within Clean Utilities such as clean steam, clean water, purified water, WFI (Water for injection).
• Ability to keep work pace and meet deadlines. Good organizing and planning skills.
• Proven success working well in a team environment with flexibility to react to changing business needs.
• Strong leadership and communication skills. Problem solver with a focus on achievement of overall project goals.
• Computer skills (Spreadsheets, Word Processing, Visio, Microsoft Project)
