ERM is seeking an EHS specialist for its site in France near Toulouse. The role involves leading regulatory compliance, risk assessments, and safety culture improvements on site, reporting to the ERM project team.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in EHS with ICPE and French permitting knowledge, machine safety, energy isolation, and PIT expertise, and is fluent in English and French. The position requires full-time on-site work and immediate availability.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10+ years of experience in EHS
• Deep knowledge of ICPE and French permitting regulations
• Experience in machine safety and energy isolation
• Experience with PIT (Powered Industrial Trucks) and signage
• Strong understanding of French regulatory requirements and legislation
• Proficiency in both English and French

Responsabilités

• Support local management to understand key EHS stakes and site priorities
• Assist EHS team with implementing projects and strengthening safety culture
• Contribute to development and execution of the site EHS roadmap
• Provide regular daily and weekly project updates and reports to the ERM project team
• On-site presence full-time (5 days per week, 8 hours per day)
• Start date as soon as possible

One of ERM Agchem client is seeking a EHS specialist with the following profile for their site in France located near Toulouse.

Key responsibilities and requirements

• The role is full time :
• 10+ years of experience in E HS, with specific expertise in ICPE requirements French permitting regulations), Machine Safety, Isolation of Energy, and PIT (Powered Industrial Trucks), signage and pedestrian flow
• Ability to support local management team to understand the key EHS stakes and priorities for the site
• Ability to support the EHS team in implementing specific projects and strengthening the site's safety culture and policy implementation
• Contribution to the development and execution of the site EHS roadmap
• Initial secondment of 6 months,
• Full-time presence on site (5 days per week, 8 hours per day)
• Proficiency in both English and French
• Strong understanding of French regulatory requirements and legislation
• A good understanding of environmental regulations is also desirable
• Provide regular daily and weekly project updates and reports to the ERM project team

Start date: as soon as possible

The H&S performance at the site is on a fast improvement track to fully aligned to global safety deadlines. The client is looking for a H&S specialist to work with site leadership to help enforce life saving rules, immediately address compliance gaps, manage safety and co-develop an improvement roadmap. Client's aspiration is that the site will become a flagship for others in the region.
